Custom commissions are a hallmark of Avram Rusu Studio. From significant, large-scale installations to intriguing, modest interventions, the studio enjoys developing our collections through creative collaborations with clients. Site-specific projects invite new perspectives and expand what’s possible within our artistic practice, while providing clients with personalized, unique functional artworks.
The Marea Chandelier is a flexible and customizable arrangement of Marea Pendants in layered handblown glass with delicate brass chains.
The Marea Collection is an exploration of organic forms inspired by marine life and underwater seascapes. Marea translates to ‘the sea’ in Romanian and the collection is informed by designer Andreea Avram Rusu’s childhood summers on the Black Sea and her love of scuba diving.
Dimensions:
Dimensions are to order within collection parameters. Custom colors, finishes, configurations, and drop lengths available upon request.

Hand-blown glass, brass.
Lamping:
Aurelia and Large Leidyi Pendant: 9W LED A19 2700K E26 base bulb (75W incandescent equivalent), fully compatible dimming, 120V or 220V.
Small Leidyi Pendant: 5W LED B11 2700K E12 candelabra base bulb (60W incandescent equivalent), fully compatible dimming, 120V or 240V.
