The FLOAT Japan Series Panels are a set of two book matched panels inspired by a 16th century Japanese Kimono textile. A male and female Chinese Phoenix, considered the King and Queen of Birds, fly among the Cherry tree blossoms. This Kimono textile was woven in the Spring and represented the Noble character, elegance and beauty.
Made from laser cut stainless steel, the mirrored faces reflect light while the perforated patterns cast their ornate shadows into the surrounding space.
Panel faces are mirror finished, backs are satin finished and suspend from stainless steel cables. Custom finishes and cable lengths available.
